Motor Vehicle Collision – Investigation: C24-266763

On November 14, 2024, at approximately 6:31 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service attended to Chief Peguis Trail between Henderson Highway and Main Street in regards to a motor vehicle collision involving two pedestrians.

The driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative with police. A female pedestrian and male pedestrian, both in their 30s, attempted to cross Chief Peguis Trail where there is no pedestrian crosswalk, and were subsequently struck by a vehicle. Both were transported to hospital in unstable condition, and have since been upgraded to stable.  

Traffic Collision Investigators have assumed the investigation, and no charges have been laid.
