Firearm – Arrest: C24-251385

On October 27, 2024 at approximately 7:28 p.m., North District General Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Ram with five occupants in the area of McGregor Street and Alfred Avenue.

During the traffic stop, occupants of the vehicle began to physically fight with each other. To prevent further escalation, officers removed all individuals from the vehicle.

During this process police located and seized the following items as evidence:

  • 12 Gauge Shotgun
  • Collapsible Baton (Prohibited)
  • 2.6 grams of Crack Cocaine (estimated street value $220.00)

Bridgette ALIKAWSA, 22 years of Winnipeg is charged with the following:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of a Weapon

Keith CHARTRAND, 45 years of Winnipeg, is charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Firearms Knowing it’s Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to a Prohibition Order x3
  • Carry Concealed Weapon, Prohibited Device, or Ammunition
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Cocaine

Silvia MCKAY, 48 years of Winnipeg is charged with the following:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

Bradley OKEMOW, 38 years of Winnipeg is charged with the following:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

George PAUL, 31 years of Winnipeg is charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Firearms Knowing it’s Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X3
  • Carry Concealed Weapon, Prohibited Device, or Ammunition
  • Possession of a Weapon

All were detained in custody.
