In October 2024, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit initiated an investigation involving occupants of a residence, believed to be involved in drug trafficking.

On October 24, 2024 at approximately 1:50 p.m., members the Guns and Gangs Unit with the assistance of Tactical Support Team (TST), North District and West District Community Support Units, executed a search warrant on a residence in the 2000 block of Gallagher Avenue. Officers located and arrested three adult females and two adult males without incident.

As a result of the search warrant, officers seized the following items as evidence:

  • A loaded G2C Taurus 9 mm semi-automatic handgun with prohibited magazine with an additional 10 rounds of
  • 36 rounds 9 mm ammunition
  • 6.59 grams cocaine (estimated street value of $8600.00)
  • 26.37 grams fentanyl (estimated street value of $4000.00)
  • 457 hydromorphone pills (estimated street value of $9140.00
  • Approximately $4700.00 Canadian currency
  • Packaging material
  • Cell phone

Kylene BEACH, 33-years of Winnipeg is facing the following charges:

  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Loaded, Prohibited, or Restricted Firearm
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition

Monique DUHARD 55-years of Winnipeg is charged with the following:

  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Loaded, Prohibited, or Restricted Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X3
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Michele LANDON-GIBBINS 28-years of Winnipeg is charged with the following:

  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Loaded, Prohibited, or Restricted Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X3
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order X2

Stephan Mitchell MCKAY 46-years of Winnipeg is charged with the following:

  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Loaded, Prohibited, or Restricted Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X3
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Stephen Damian MCKAY 22-years of Winnipeg is charged with the following:

  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Loaded, Prohibited, or Restricted Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

All were detained in custody.
