Stabbing – Investigation: C24-245512

On October 20, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m., East District General Patrol officers responded the first 100 block of Loraine Street for the report of a stabbing.

Officers located a 49-year-old male with a serious upper body injury sustained from a stabbing. Officers provided emergency medical care. The victim was transported to the hospital in unstable condition, and later upgraded to stable. The suspect(s) fled prior to police arrival.

It was revealed through investigation that the initial incident had occurred in a common area of a multi-unit dwelling residence in the 600 block of St. Mary’s Road following a verbal altercation between the parties.

No arrests have been made and the victim has expressed not wanting further police involvement.

The Major Crimes Unit has assumed and is continuing with the investigation.
