October 14, 2024, marks one year since the murder of then 24-year-old Joseph Robert CAMPBELL of Winnipeg. The Homicide Unit continues to investigate and seeks the public’s assistance.

 On October 14, 2023, at approximately 11:20 p.m., CAMPBELL was grievously assaulted by a group of individuals in the 300 block of Keenleyside Street. The suspects fled the area, and CAMPBELL subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation has revealed that three males observed in the area at the time of the murder have been identified as persons of interest. Anyone with information regarding the identity of these males is asked to contact investigators.

Investigators in the Homicide Unit believe individuals may still have valuable information that will assist in the investigation. The CAMPBELL family would like the investigation resolved to bring peace and closure to their family.
