Homicide Investigation – Public Assistance: C23-228534

On September 20, 2024, one year has passed since the murder of Sukhdool Singh GILL. GILL was a 39-year-old male with a South Asian background. He was found deceased at a residence in the 200 block of Hazelton Drive. Following a medical examination, his death was deemed a homicide, and the Winnipeg Police Service’s Homicide Unit began an investigation.

This investigation continues, and police ask for public assistance. Anyone who knew GILL, including members of the City’s South Asia community, is asked to contact investigators with any information regarding his whereabouts or personal interactions he had prior to his death.
