In August 2024, the Winnipeg Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) was notified by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) after intercepting an international package destined for a Winnipeg address. The package contained a sex doll anatomically designed to appear to look like a pre-pubescent child.
