Carjacking – Investigation: C22-90601

On May 2, 2022, at approximately 5:00 p.m., General Patrol officers from the West District responded to the report of a carjacking at a convenience store in the 700 block of Corydon Avenue.

Officers met with three victims (an adult male and two females) who indicated that as they returned to their parked vehicle, an unknown male brandishing a weapon approached the male driver. The suspect demanded the keys, assaulted the male on the ground, and fled in the car. The driver sustained minor injuries.

The Major Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate. If anyone has information about this vehicle please call the non-emergency line at 204-986-6222. Do not approach anyone driving this vehicle.
