On November 2, 2026, around 7:20 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a hit and run involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Provencher Boulevard and Des Meurons Street.

Another driver stopped and assisted as the victim, a 27-year-old man was lying on the road. He was transported by ambulance to hospital in stable condition with injuries.
