Public Advisory – Halloween candy

The Winnipeg Police Service has received two separate reports of Halloween candy containing straight pins embedded inside the chocolate.

  • Report from a complainant in the 900 block of Sinclair Street (Garden City neighbourhood) – mini Twix bar
  • Report from a complainant on High Ridge Road (Royalwood neighbourhood) – Kit Kat bar

Parents and guardians are encouraged to carefully check their children’s candy.

If you find a similar object in your Halloween candy – please report using the WPS non-emergency line 204-986-6222 so police can provide timely public updates.
