Three separate stabbing incidents – Major Crimes continuing to investigate

The Winnipeg Police Service is investigating three unrelated stabbing incidents between September 25 and 26, 2026. No arrests have yet been made and anyone with information is asked to contact police at the number provided below.

C26-242820

On September 25, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., General Patrol officers from North District responded to the Inkster Garden neighbourhood for the report of a stabbing. An 18-year-old male was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition. The Major Crimes Unit is continuing the investigation.

On September 25, 2026, around 8:30 p.m., General Patrol officers from East District responded to the report of a taxi driver who was stabbed during a fare dispute in the 1600 block of Regent Avenue. The victim in his 50s, transported himself to hospital. The Major Crimes Unit is continuing the investigation.

On September 26, 2026, at 1:50 a.m., General Patrol officers from North District with the assistance of the K9 Unit responded to the 300 block of McAdam Avenue for the report of a robbery where a man was stabbed.  The victim, a man in his 30s was transported to hospital in unstable condition and upgraded to stable condition. Suspect described as a male wearing a dark hoodie with a white “Jordan” symbol on the front. The Major Crimes Unit is continuing the investigation.
