Throughout September 2026, the North District Community Support Unit received reports from concerned community members regarding suspected illicit drug activity at a residence in the 600 block of Magnus Avenue. As a result, officers initiated an investigation.
On September 24, 2026, just before 6:30 p.m., with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team (TST), Canine Unit (K9), Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Unit (RPAS), and West District Community Support Unit, officers executed a search warrant at the residence.
Officers seized pellet guns, illicit drugs, and stolen property, resulting in the arrest of four individuals and the laying of nine criminal charges.
The following items were seized:
- 7.2 ounces of cocaine (Estimated Street Value = $14,400)
- Freesky Warrior Pro Electric Bicycle
Two individuals were located just outside while an additional two were found within the residence at the time the warrant was executed. All were subsequently arrested without incident.
Additionally, two CO2 pellet guns and a hunting knife were also seized by police during the investigation.
A 50-year-old man is facing the following charges:
- Possession of a Weapon x 3
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
A 48-year-old man is facing a charge of Possession of a Weapon
A 46-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman are facing charges of Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.
All were released on Undertakings.
