Threats investigation results in arrest: C26-236876

On September 19, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) responded to a report of threats at a community center in the 1-99 block of Warnock Street involving a 48-year-old man and several community members.

Investigators learned that the suspect approached several youths outside the center and made threatening gestures toward them. The youths reported the incident to a staff member inside the facility, who contacted police. When the staff member went outside to speak with the suspect, the suspect continued the threatening behavior.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., Central District General Patrol officers located the suspect in the 1200 block of Logan Avenue and took him into custody.

Sean Michael WOO (48) has been charged with Uttering Threats - Cause Death or Bodily Harm.

He was detained in custody.
