2024 Homicide investigation leads to arrest of man living in British Columbia: C24-161487

The Homicide Unit continued to investigate the July 13, 2024, homicide of Mohamed Yusuf ABDULLAHI and worked closely with the RCMP – Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit – British Columbia (CFSEU).

On July 30, 2026, Tresor HORIMBERE was located and arrested in Langley, BC.

On August 3, 2026, the Manitoba Integrated Violent Offender Apprehension Unit (MIVOAU) travelled to Langley, BC, arrested HORIMBERE and returned to Winnipeg.

Tresor HORIMBERE, (24), has been charged with 1st Degree Murder and was detained in custody.

The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank CFSEU for their assistance in locating and arresting HORIMBERE and the BOLO program for highlighting awareness of this wanted individual.

The Homicide Unit continues to investigate the July 13, 2024, homicide of Mohamed Yusuf ABDULLAHI in the 900 block of Waverley Street in Winnipeg, MB.

Homicide investigators are requesting public assistance in locating an outstanding suspect, identified as 23-year-old Tresor HORIMBERE. At this time, investigators believe HORIMBERE may be travelling throughout Canada to avoid apprehension.

A $100,000 reward has been offered for any information leading to his arrest through the Bolo Program.
