Male charged in sexual assault investigation: C26-149295

On June 21, 2026, just after 10:00 p.m., West District General Patrol officers responded to the area of Donald Street and River Avenue for the report of a sexual assault.

Investigators attended and met with a 16-year-old female who reported she had met a male in June 2026, and they began conversing over social media.

On June 21, 2026, the suspect met with the female and some of her friends. He provided them alcohol and drove them around. The female was sexually assaulted at some point during their interaction. He then dropped them all off. Police were later contacted.

The Counter Exploitation Unit assumed the investigation.

On July 13, 2026, the Counter Exploitation Unit arrested the suspect without incident.

Mandeep SINGH, (41), has been charged with the following:

  • Sexual Assault
  • Sexual Exploitation
  • Luring a Person Under 18 years of age by Means of Telecommunication
  • Obtaining Sexual Services from a Person Under 18 years of age

He was released on a Release Order.
