On July 12, 2026, just before 2:00 p.m., North District General Patrol officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of Salter Street after the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS), who were fighting a working fire nearby, observed a 39-year-old woman brandishing a shot gun.
Upon arrival, officers located and arrested the woman. With the assistance of the Tactical Support Team (TST), the residence was searched which resulted in the seizure of a Browning Model 5 long barrelled shot gun that was previously reported stolen back in 2015.
Carrie Anne RUDOLPH, (39), was charged with the following:
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of a Weapon
- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
She was detained in custody.
