Major Crimes Unit investigators make arrest in arson, mischief, and theft investigation: C26-129127

On June 21, 2026, a 30-year-old woman was arrested in connection with incidents involving mischief, theft, and arson that occurred in the Linden Woods industrial area on May 31, 2026.

At approximately 9:57 p.m., a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado parked in the 1–99 block of Fennell Street was damaged, entered, and had property stolen from within.

Shortly after, a commercial business across the street in the 1500 block of Seel Avenue caught fire, resulting in approximately $1,750,000 in damage to the building and an additional $500,000 in damage to its contents, affecting two commercial businesses.

On June 21, 2026, at approximately 11:31 a.m., Central District General Patrol officers arrested Keishya Marie FONTAINE (30) on an unrelated matter in the 600 block of Furby Street. During the investigation, officers identified her involvement in the above incidents and turned her over to the Major Crimes Unit.

FONTAINE has been charged with the following offences:

  • Arson Causing Damage to Property
  • Mischief Under $5,000 / Obstruct in Enjoyment
  • Theft Under $5,000

FONTAINE was detained in custody.
