Man and woman in custody after search warrant executed. Drugs, guns, and stolen license plates seized: R26-30989

In May of 2026, Central District Community Support Unit entered into an investigation regarding drug trafficking at a residence in the Weston neighbourhood. Two individuals and a residence was identified.

On June 13, at around 8:00 p.m., with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team (TST) the Rapid Response Unit (RRU), and Central District General Patrol, a warrant was executed on a residence in the 1400 block of Elgin Avenue West. A woman who was located within the residence and a man who attended there at the time of warrant execution were arrested.

Items seized by police as a result of the warrant execution included the following:

  • Three ounces of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value = $1,050)
  • 18 grams of Fentanyl (Estimated Street Value = $ 27,000)
  • Small quantity of pills
  • Break action pellet rifle
  • BB handgun
  • Drug packaging
  • Stolen licence plates

A 35-year-old woman is facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
  • Possession of a Weapon x 2

A 47-year-old man is facing the following charges:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Weapon x 2
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Both were released on two Undertakings.
