49-year-old man arrested for Charleswood sexual assault incident: C26-131810

On June 4, 2026, officers from West District arrested a man in the 3900 block of Grant Avenue on the strength of a warrant for sexual assault.

On June 3rd, around 4:00 p.m., a woman walking in a Charleswood neighbourhood with two children was confronted by an adult male. He made sexually explicit comments, sexually assaulted the woman and blocked their passage.  

The woman yelled, flagged down a passing vehicle, and police were contacted. Nobody was physically injured.

The man was identified, but not located at the time and a warrant was issued.

Brian Joel LEVREAULT (49), was charged with Sexual Assault and detained in custody.
