Driver in hospital after single vehicle roll-over in Transcona: C26-121702

On May 24, 2026, at approximately 1:42 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a serious single‑vehicle collision in the 200 block of Redonda Street. A 21-year-old man remains in hospital.

At approximately 1:46 a.m., East District General Patrol officers attended and located a 2020 BMW M340i off the roadway and on the grass on the east side of Victoria Jason Park. The driver, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, had been ejected and sustained serious injuries. Speed is being investigated as a contributing factor.

STARS Air Ambulance transported the driver to hospital in critical condition, where he underwent surgery for serious injuries.

The Traffic Unit continues to investigate. Anyone with information, including dashcam, security, or cell phone video related to the manner of driving of the involved vehicle around the time of the incident, is asked to contact the Traffic Unit at winnipegcrimestoppers.org.
