Motor vehicle collision involving pedestrian: C26-119410

On May 21, 2026, shortly before 5:00 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Main Street and Mountain Avenue.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 50’s, was transported to hospital in unstable condition with serious injuries. The driver of the 2024 Mazda CX-50 involved in the collision remained on scene and spoke with officers. She was uninjured.

Northbound Main Street remained closed to traffic for a period of time during the initial investigation.
