Two separate stabbings send two teens to hospital – police seek info

On May 20, 2026, at about 5:37 p.m., officers from North District responded to a reported stabbing in the 300 block of Alfred Avenue. Police located a 16-year-old male who had been stabbed, he was taken to hospital by ambulance in stable condition. The initial investigation determined he was attacked by an unknown group of males, who then fled. This investigation is continuing.

On May 20, 2026, around 10:25 p.m., officers from North District responded to the 300 block of Pritchard Avenue for the report of a male who had been stabbed, possibly by a group of males. A 19-year-old victim was transported to hospital in stable condition. The investigation is continuing.
