In early January 2026, the Counter Exploitation Unit began investigating inappropriate sexual contact between a teenage girl and a 55-year-old year old man, resulting in his arrest.
Between February 2025 and December 30, 2025, the teen was provided drugs and alcohol and sexually assaulted on multiple occasions at the man’s residence. During one incident, the teen suffered a potentially fatal overdose. She was also assaulted and choked on several occasions, resulting in minor injuries not requiring medical attention.
The teen disclosed the assault and police were contacted. As a result of the investigation, a 55-year-old suspect, Albert Felix MONDOR, was identified as being involved in the incidents.
On January 9, 2026, MONDOR was located at his residence and arrested. He was charged with the following offences:
- Sexual Interference
- Administer Noxious Thing with Intent to Aggrieve or Annoy
- Assault by Choking, Suffocating or Strangling
- Assault
MONDOR was detained in custody.
