Homicide Unit makes two arrests regarding late December Lydia Street investigation: C25-307135

On December 21, 2025, Central Division General Patrol officers responded to an apartment complex in the 100 block of Lydia Street. Officers located a man inside a residence with serious injuries. They provided emergency medical care to the victim and he was transported to hospital in critical condition.

The Major Crimes Unit assumed the investigation.

On December 22, 2025, a 27-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault and detained in custody.

On December 24, 2025, the victim, 42-year-old, Michael Allen HARRINGTON succumbed to his injuries.

The Homicide Unit assumed the investigation and on January 8, 2026, arrested 19-year-old Larry Walter RICHARD-HALL in the 100 block of Isabel Street.

RICHARD-HALL is charged with Second Degree Murder.

On January 12, homicide investigators obtained an arrest warrant for the previously arrested 27-yr-old male. Investigators attended the Provincial Remand Centre and arrested 27-year-old Conrad Jesse FIDDLER and charged him with Manslaughter.

Both RICHARD-HALL and FIDDLER remain in custody.
