Duo arrested after downtown robbery: C25-308933

A 23-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were arrested after a 19-year-old victim was assaulted and robbed of their personal property in the 0-99 block of Furby Street.

On December 23, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the victim was walking along Furby Street between Cornish Avenue and Wolseley Avenue when he was approached by two suspects who asked for a cigarette. The victim was thrown to the ground, assaulted, and his cell phone was stolen. He sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault.

Central District General Patrol officers responded and assumed the investigation. A canvass of CCTV footage in the area of the robbery provided officers with a detailed suspect description and led to the suspects’ location.

At 7:28 p.m., officers arrested a woman and a man at a residence in the 0-99 block of Furby Street, and the victim’s property was recovered.

A 23-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man both face charges of Robbery. They were released on an Undertaking.
