Teen sexually assaulted after meeting man on social media, suspect arrested: C25-264848

In early September 2025, a teen was contacted by a 25-year-old man on social media. The online contact lead to multiple in-person contacts, where the teen was sexually assaulted. The man was arrested after the incidents were reported to police.

On October 12, the teenage girl agreed to meet the man in person. He drove her to an undisclosed location where she was sexually assaulted.

On October 13 and November 1, the man attended to the teen’s residence where she was sexually assaulted.  

The incidents were reported and the Winnipeg Police Service Child Abuse Unit assumed the investigation, identifying a suspect.   

On December 15, 2025, Louie Peter BALDAM (25) was arrested and charged with Sexual Interference and Invitation to Sexual Touching.

BALDAM was released on a Release Order with conditions, one of them being not to have contact with anyone under the age of 16 years.
