Winnipeg Crime Stoppers Top Ten Retail Theft Offender arrested by police: E25-25304

In August 2025, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Property Crime Unit began an investigation regarding a string of retail thefts to a commercial business, at various locations within Winnipeg. Investigators determined that a man was linked to the string of retail thefts which included the following:

  • July 16: A man entered a retail store in the 300 block of Portage Avenue and stole items valued at $672.

  • Between July 23 and October 17, 2025: A man entered a retail store in the 1500 block of Regent Avenue West five times and stole items valued at $3,600.

  • Between August 1 and August 26, 2025: A man entered a retail store in the 1500 block of Regent Avenue West seven times and stole items valued at $2,330.

All incidents were captured on the retailer’s security cameras and reported to police. The total loss incurred by the retailer is estimated at over $6,000.

On December 14, 2025, just after 8:00 a.m., with the assistance of Central District General Patrol, the man was arrested at a residence in the 1500 block of Logan Avenue.

Bradley Darryl MITCHELL, (30), has been charged with Theft Under $5,000 x 13 and detained in custody.
