Man hospitalized following Point Douglas shooting incident – Major Crimes Unit investigating: C25-288757

The Major Crimes Unit is investigating an incident where a man in a residence in the 100 block of Syndicate Street was struck by gunfire discharged from outside the residence.

On November 30, 2025, at 7:43 a.m., North District General Patrol officers, with assistance from Central District General Patrol, the Traffic Division, and the Tactical Support Team, responded to the above-mentioned residence after learning a 27-year-old man inside the house had been struck by a gun shot through a window from outside.

Attending officers provided emergency first aid with the application of a chest seal before ambulance arrived. The man was transported to hospital in unstable condition where he remains. The suspect(s) fled in a vehicle before police arrived.
