Winnipeg Police have arrested a 43-year-old woman wanted in connection with multiple commercial robberies, weapons offences, breaches, and uttering threats at retail stores across the city. The suspect was taken into custody following an investigation that linked her to several incidents dating back to October 2025.
On October 25, 2025, a grocery store in the 3300 block of Portage Avenue reported a robbery of $235 worth of groceries by a woman who was armed with a pair of scissors. No injuries were reported.
On November 7, 2025, a grocery store in the 3900 block of Grant Avenue reported a robbery of $250 worth of groceries by a woman armed with a knife who threatened staff. No injuries were reported.
The incidents were investigated by the Property Crime Unit and a 43-year-old woman was identified as a suspect. Investigators determined that she was also linked several other robberies throughout the city dating back to October 2025.
On November 24, 2025, at 10:40 a.m., North District General Patrol and Community Support Unit officers located the suspect in the 500 block of Boyd Avenue on an unrelated incident and took her into custody.

Thompson was detained in custody.
