Police arrest two men suspected of trafficking drugs in stolen rental vehicle: C25-283662

On November 24, 2025, at 7:22 p.m., West District General Patrol officers observed a stolen 2019 Chevrolet Cruze in the area of Pembina Highway and Chevrier Boulevard. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 1700 block of Pembina Highway and arrested the driver, 28-year-old Blaze Chance GENTES-TRAVERSE, along with his passenger, 21-year-old Tyrell Lesley WILLIAMS. A quantity of cocaine and fentanyl was seized from WILLIAMS’ person during his arrest.

During a search of the vehicle, officers located:

  • 35.5 grams of cocaine (estimated street value $3,500)
  • Packaging materials and scale
  • Machete

GENTES-TRAVERSE has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking x 2
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of a Weapon

WILLIAMS has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking x 2
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
  • Possession of a Weapon

Both men were detained in custody.
