Male stabbed selling cell phone. One female youth arrested: C25-278725

On November 19, 2025, just before 7:00 p.m., North District General Patrol officers responded to McGregor Street and Carruthers Avenue in response to a male stabbed following an online sales transaction. Upon arrival, with the assistance of the Canine Unit (K9), a female youth suspect was arrested.

It was determined through investigation that the 47-year old victim arranged to sell his cell phone using a social media platform. The buyer, a youth, in the company of an adult, attended and purchased the phone as planned. As the sale had concluded, the buyer returned and stabbed the seller. The suspect fled the scene and police were contacted.

Officers located the victim in the 700 block of Aberdeen Avenue, provided emergency medical care and he was transported to hospital in stable condition.

A 17-year-old female has been charged with the following:

  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Fail to Comply with Sentence x 2
  • Warrant – Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 6
  • Warrant – Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 2

She was detained in custody.
