Two valuable paintings stolen from commercial break-in – Major Crimes Unit looking for information: C25-190668

The Winnipeg Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit is requesting public assistance regarding an investigation stemming from a commercial break-in at a warehouse in the 200 block of McDermot Avenue.

Investigators learned that between 5:30 p.m. on August 14 and 5:42 a.m. on August 15, unknown suspect(s) entered the warehouse by breaking a window, stole two paintings and fled the building. The stolen artwork has a combined estimated value of almost $9,000.

The Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate.
