On September 19, 2025, around 11:45 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian at Notre Dame Avenue and McPhillips Street.

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were on scene and a woman in her 60s was transported to hospital in unstable condition, where she remains at this time.

The area was cordoned off to traffic for several hours and the driver remained at the scene and met with police. The Traffic Collision Investigation Unit has assumed the investigation.
