On September 17, 2025, just past 1:00 a.m., North District General Patrol officers conducting proactive patrols in the North End, observed a late model Dodge Dart travelling westbound on Redwood Avenue near Main Street, with multiple occupants not wearing seatbelts.

While conducting a traffic stop in front of 824 Main Street to address the Highway Traffic Act offence, officers observed open liquor and a canister of bear spray in plain view within the cabin of the vehicle.

Officers searched the vehicle and found a loaded Taurus 709 Slim 9mm handgun and six rounds of compatible ammunition. In addition, officers seized $1,495 CDN and over 6 grams of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $634). The driver and four occupants were placed under arrest without incident.

Jesse Aaron LARABIE, 35, and Waylon Martin ROULETTE, 28, are charged with multiple weapons and firearms-related offences, trafficking-related offences, and possession of proceeds of crime. They were both also issued Provincial Offence Act notices for unlawful transportation of liquor in a motor vehicle.

LARABIE and ROULETTE were detained in custody.

Three women, aged 20,24, and 26 respectively were released on their own recognizance with no charges.
