On September 16, shortly before 10:20 p.m., East District General Patrol officers arrested two men and a woman walking southbound on Panet Road at Nairn Avenue after receiving reports they had robbed and assaulted a man in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Munroe Avenue.

Officers learned that the victim, a 26-year-old man, was walking in the neighbourhood when he was approached by the trio, threatened, physically assaulted, and robbed of his personal property. The suspects fled on foot and police were called. The victim suffered minor injuries which did not require medical attention.

The trio was not previously known to the victim and the attack is believed to be random and unprovoked.

A 21-year-old woman, a 27-year-old man, and a 28-year-old woman face charges of Robbery and were each released on Undertaking with later court dates.
