Winnipeg Police investigating motor vehicle collision involving school bus

On September 10, 2025, at 3:26 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service received a report of a motor vehicle collision in the 1-99 block of Keslar Road in Richmond West. The school bus did not sustain significant damage.

Members of the Traffic Division, with assistance from West District General Patrol attended and ensured the safety and wellbeing of the students. The 17-year-old driver was transported to hospital in unstable condition and has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Additional information will be provided at a later date.

The Winnipeg Police Service continues to investigate.

The involved vehicle, a grey van, had been driven in the area of Lee Boulevard prior to the collision, south of Bison Drive between Pembina Highway and Waverley Boulevard.
