An unruly patron kicks police officer in face, now they are facing charges: C25-211482

On September 7, 2025, around 3:15 a.m., police responded to an establishment in Windsor Park where an intoxicated adult was detained under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.

As police attempted to apply handcuffs, she resisted them and pulled her arms away. When she was in the backseat of the marked cruiser car she repeatedly kicked the safety divider between the front and back seat.

While officers attempted to restrain her legs, she kicked one of the officers in the chest and their face, causing injury to their face.

The 21-year-old woman was placed under arrest and is facing charges for:

  • Resist Peace Officer
  • Assault Peace Officer

She was released on an Appearance Notice
