Man stabbed in 1100 block of Troy Ave., police seek public assistance: C25-192337

A man in his 60s, was randomly attacked near a condo complex in the 1100 block of Troy Avenue. Police seek the public’s assistance for information, including home or business video surveillance. 

On August 16, 2025, around 9:00 p.m., a man was walking eastbound on Troy Avenue from Fife Street. A group of teenagers gathered in the southwest parking lot of the condo complex started yelling at the man and confronted him. He was stabbed, pushed to the ground, and further assaulted.

The suspects ran off and the victim made his way to safety and called police. Police provided emergency medical care and he was transported to hospital in unstable condition. He was treated and upgraded to stable condition.

One of the suspects was described as:

  • A white male in his mid-teens, with facial hair
  • Wearing a white hoodie and white pants

The Major Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate.
