Police seeking public assistance regarding assault of a woman on foot path near Beliveau Road: C25-191484

The Winnipeg Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance after a woman was sexually assaulted walking between a parking lot in the 1900 block of Abinoji Mikanah and the rear of the 200 block of Beliveau Road.

On August 15, 2025, around 11:45 p.m., a woman was walking west on a grassy foot path when a random stranger appeared and grabbed her in an unwanted sexual manner. She screamed, broke free and ran to safety.

The suspect was last seen running east toward the parking lot of Home Depot.

The suspect is described as:

A man in his 20’s-30’s

Described as Indigenous in appearance, with dark hair and facial hair

Heavier build and wearing a dark hoodie
