Teenager robbed of scooter, male arrested: C25-128691

On June 10, 2025, at 3:30 p.m., a 16-year-old male youth was near the rear of a residence in the 300 block of Springfield Road to meet up with a male for the purpose of selling his electric scooter. An 18-year old male arrived, and while examining the scooter,  brandished a gun, and took the scooter before fleeing the area.

The Major Crimes Unit assumed the investigation and identified a suspect.

On August 8, 2025, just before 7:00 p.m., investigators attended to a residence in the 500 Manitoba Avenue and arrested the suspect male.

Simon BAHATI was arrested for Armed Robbery Using a Firearm and detained in custody.
