Sexual Assault – Public Advisory: C24-224022

The Winnipeg Police Service’s Sex Crimes Unit is investigating several similar reports about females being groped from behind by an unknown male who then runs away.   

Between September 25 and 28, 2024, six adult females have reported these sexual assaults that occurred in the following areas:

  • September 25, approximately 6:00 p.m. (first one hundred block Balmoral St.)
  • September 25, approximately 7:00 p.m. (Main St./Assiniboine Ave.)
  • September 26, approximately 9:50 p.m. (Ellice Ave./Hargrave St.)
  • September 27, approximately 7:00 p.m. (first one hundred block Edmonton St.)
  • September 28, approximately 10:30 p.m. (Granite Way/Osborne St.)

Detectives are working to obtain a clear surveillance image.

He is described as a light skinned male, 5’4”-5’8”, thin build, wearing a hoodie, and possibly has eyeglasses.
