Update:
The Homicide Unit has arrested three individuals regarding the murder of 38-year-old Cory Roger ROULETTE on August 26, 2023.
Investigators determined the three suspects, who were not known to the victim, forced their way into a room in the 500 block of Furby Street. The victim was confronted and shot, resulting in his death.
Kyle Alex HARPER, 25, of Winnipeg, was arrested on the same date and charged with the following offences:
- Second Degree Murder
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 2
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order
- Warrant (Fail to Attend Court)
The additional two suspects were identified and arrested on September 1.
Ramona Harriette HARPER, 21, of Winnipeg, was charged with Second Degree Murder and Raoul Wes-Tyson Bradley HARPER, 19, of Winnipeg, was charged with Second Degree Murder and Failure to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 3.
Investigators do not anticipate further arrests. All three suspects were detained in custody.

On August 26, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a multi-room residence in the 500 block of Furby Street for a report of a male who had been shot.
Central District General Patrol officers attended and located an unresponsive adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided emergency medical care for the victim by providing CPR before the ambulance arrived. He was transported to hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries. The suspect(s) fled before police arrived.
The Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation and identified the victim as 38-year-old Cory Roger ROULETTE of Winnipeg. Notifications to the family have been made.
