On September 5, 2023, the Winnipeg Police Service Guns & Gang Unit executed two Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrants for a residence in the 300 block of St. John’s Avenue and a vehicle related to a drug trafficking investigation.

As a result of the search of the vehicle, the following was located and seized:

- $690 Canadian currency

- 3.5 grams cocaine (estimated street value $350)

- 108 capsules of MDMA (estimated street value $1080)

- 195 grams of methamphetamine (estimated street value of $1950)

- 79 grams of cocaine (estimated street value $7900)

- 70 grams of fentanyl (estimated street value $14000)

As a result of the search of the residence, the following was located and seized:

- Sawed-off shotgun

- Revolver

- Over 13 grams of fentanyl (estimated street value $2740)

- Over 13 grams of cocaine (estimated street value $1370)

- 52 grams of methamphetamine (estimated street value $5200)

- Various other drug paraphernalia 

William DAVIS, 30 years, Jordan ELSLEY, 23 years, Mathew HUDSON, 25 years, and a 20-year-old female of Winnipeg have been arrested. They have been charged with numerous drug and weapon-related offences.

DAVIS, ELSLEY and HUDSON were detained in custody.
