It has been three years since the murder of 30-year-old Anthony Evaristo GONZALES of Winnipeg. The Homicide Unit continues to investigate and seeks the public’s assistance. 

On August 9, 2020, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Anthony Gonzales was grievously assaulted by a group of unknown individuals outside an establishment in the 1400 block of St. Matthews Avenue. The suspects fled the area, and Anthony subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

 


 

Investigators in the Homicide Unit believe numerous witnesses were present at the time and still have valuable information that will assist in the investigation. The Gonzales family would like the investigation resolved to bring peace and closure to their family.
