Update

On July 19, the suspect in the below previously released incident turned himself into police and was placed under arrest without incident. Investigators would like to thank the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

Scott Bradley Kilmury, 47, of Winnipeg, has been charged with the following:

-Sexual Assault

 

As previously released:

On June 17, 2023, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a sexual assault on an adult female on board a transit bus.

Officers met with a 19-year-old female who provided an initial report:

At approximately 11:15 a.m., she was on a transit bus in the St. Vital area when an unknown male sat beside her. He unexpectedly touched her lower body in an inappropriate sexual manner. When the victim exited the bus, the suspect followed her off but proceeded in an unknown direction. She was not physically injured during this incident.

As a result of the investigation by members of the Sex Crimes Unit, the following images of the suspect have been obtained    

Anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity is asked to call the Sex Crimes Unit at 204-986-2987 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
