On November 5, 2022, at approximately 2:20 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 200 block of McDermot Avenue for the report of a male who had been shot.
Central District officers attended and located a 21-year-old adult male with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Officers and ambulance personnel provided emergency medical care to the victim who was transported to hospital in critical condition; however, he succumbed to his injuries. No arrests have been made.
On November 5, 2022, at approximately 1:45 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to an in progress Break & Enter at a commercial property in the 1200 block of Clarence Avenue.
On November 5, 2022, at approximately midnight, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the Winnipeg Southwest Rapid Transitway (Chancellor Drive/Pembina Highway) for the report of a female victim who had been sexually assaulted.
Officers from the West District attended the Victoria General Hospital and met with the 20-year-old victim who sustained several lacerations and injuries to the upper body.

On November 2, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns & Gangs Unit observed a wanted male believed to be involved in drug trafficking operating a vehicle in the first 100 block of Robson Street.
Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and safely placed the suspect male under arrest. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and seized the following as evidence.
On November 3, 2022, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a male armed with a knife in the Millenium Library located at 251 Donald Street.
Central District Foot Patrol officers attended and located the male suspect sitting in the library's lobby and safely placed him in custody.
As a result of two overnight traffic stops, North District officers seized two firearms and arrested five people.
On November 3, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Community Support officers on patrol conducted a traffic stop at Selkirk/McGregor.
One of the occupants had an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody. A subsequent search revealed a loaded improvised firing device and three rounds of ammunition.

On October 24, 2022, at approximately 9:45 a.m., the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) and police responded to the 130 block of Clyde Road for the report of an injured male lying underneath a cargo-style truck parked on the street.
WFPS determined the victim was deceased. Police subsequently cordoned off the area, and the Homicide Unit took over the investigation.
The deceased victim has been identified as Lionel Sherwin COLOMBE, a 35-year-old male.
