Guns & Gangs – Arrest: C22-256045

On November 2, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns & Gangs Unit observed a wanted male believed to be involved in drug trafficking operating a vehicle in the first 100 block of Robson Street.

Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and safely placed the suspect male under arrest. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and seized the following as evidence.

- Approximately 133 grams of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value = $6,650.00)
- Digital Scales
- Packaging Materials
- Cell phone
- Old Bank Notes (theft reported in November 2021)
- Approximately $590.00 in currency

Kirk Elliot DIAMOND, 43, of Winnipeg, was charged with the following offences:

- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.00
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking x 3
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000.00 (previously reported)
- Warrant x 4

He was detained in custody.
