Good news, swimmers! We are putting the final touches on the renovations at Bonivital Pool (1215 Archibald St.) and are getting ready to reopen its doors.
What’s new
When you enter the building, you’ll notice we upgraded the front lobby, making it more accessible for everyone to enjoy. We also added new universal and gendered changerooms.
In the main pool area, you will find a new accessible sauna and multi-purpose room.
Behind the scenes, we made several upgrades to make your visit more comfortable. This includes upgrades to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system, water heating, air handling, lighting, fire alarm, and power distribution.

Bonivital Pool was built in 1975. It closed for renovations on May 13, 2024, as many components reached the end of their expected life.
We understand pool closures can be frustrating, and we thank you for your patience. This critical maintenance work will ensure you and your family can enjoy the pool for many years to come.
