Apply online for a permit
Use Permits Online to apply for a development permit or building permit. Incomplete applications will result in delays.

You need a development permit
All new houses need a development permit per the Winnipeg Zoning By-law.
New single/two family dwellings in new greenfield subdivisions with prior development agreements on title will be processed under one combined development/building permit application. Applications for accessory structures in greenfield subdivisions will also be processed as combined development/building permit applications if submitted at the same time as the new house application.
Note: New house applications only approve the new house construction. Accessory structures shown on new house constructions plans will be excluded from the approval and must be applied for separately.
