Public Assistance requested regarding Exchange District firearm discharge incident: C25-179441

On August 2, 2025, Central District General Patrol officers assisted by members of the Tactical Support Team and the K9 Unit, attended the area of Princess Street and Bannatyne Avenue for multiple reports of a large fight in progress.

Through their investigation, officers learned that two groups of people had gathered outside in the 100 block of Princess Street following a function at a nearby venue and engaged in a physical altercation. During the altercation, reports of gunshots were reported. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

The Major Crimes Unit has assumed the investigation and is requesting public assistance in identifying and speaking to the individual pictured below as a person of interest:
